This may be Sir Roger at his passionate, optimistic, honest, humane best.
Has this pandemic been the worst ever social and economic disaster in our lifetimes? Or has it been the squealing brakes we needed, to curb our pre-pandemic headlong, tunnel-vision rush towards . . . well, where? . . . And is it unprecedented? Or is it just one of the smaller health crises in roughly 300,000 years of the human story?.
What has roared up to surprise us is an incredible global treasure-trove and display of creativity and ingenuity that hadn’t displayed itself quite so publicly or broadly before. A lot of people are suddenly engrossed in something they love doing that has become more than a frivolous hobby.
We have discovered new ways of doing things and embraced new rules for living. There has been an extra flourishing of kindness and caring. And we have been excitedly learning and practising how to create a new and better future for all of us.

This is the first law of Australian Values. John Hunt, the Coward, and “Slim” Beazley tried to hijack Australian Values, which roused Sir Roger to take up arms against this social piracy and made him a global celebrity. And what Australian “mateship” really means. (It’s not pretty.)

Sir Roger’s finest moment, when the Department of Immigration’s “Frog Shit” accused him of everything short of baby-stealing. He returned fire with forensic precision in defence of real Australian Values. There’s a certain satisfaction in shredding a toxic, pompous bureaucrat.
About the Podcast
Long ago (2006) Sir Roger was called to the ramparts to defend the Australian Values that were being argued over, stolen, perverted, ignored and used for political ends by a desperate bastard Prime Minister and a useless though pleasant Alternative Prime Minister.
Sir Roger shot flaming arrows and poured molten lead and somewhat influenced (or so he claims) the outcome of the war.
But now the war is on again.
The Potato in Chief is now in charge of Australian values. The Potato’s website shills these values but he is a hypocrite. Because. He says we believe in:
“equality of men and women and a spirit of egalitarianism that embraces mutual respect, tolerance, fair play and compassion for those in need . . .”
while he personally and officially espouses the refusal of compassion, fair play, tolerance and respect, supports the mental and physical ‘torture’ of people he doesn’t like (such as decent people, brown and black people, and people who speak gibberish and wear strange clothes) and supports people he does like (such as rich mates, campaign donors, white people and pretty young european girls).
So Sir Roger is again called to the battlements. To expand his audience he has joined the army of podcasters to share what he calls his ‘wisdom’.
Many people enjoy his blog posts but many more will enjoy this convenient way to win more arguments by listening in the car on the way to work, or between Zooms, or whatever.

Graham
Graham has been an important part of Sir Roger’s campaign for True Aussie Values since the very beginning in 2006. For some years while Sir Roger lay in a coma Graham had to attempt a mind-meld to interpret Sir Roger’s wisdom and wishes and although he got it comprehensivley wrong he is satisfied that he helped to keep Sir Roger in the public mind.
He is now proud, with Sir Roger’s recovery, to be supporting him in moving forward into the new realm of iPod Broadcasting or what is known as “Podcasting”.
Sir Roger is delighted to have new toys to play with and he hopes you will support Graham and Sir Roger in this new adventure.
Graham has worked in television, including as a writer, director, producer and Executive Producer, as a trainer, as a Manager, and most enjoyably as a scourge of bastards.
For a long time he has loved the fun and what he’s learnt through study, experimenting and trial and error that you can only learn through years of experience, or if someone like Graham is willing to share the secrets with you.
