‘Meltdown’
Briefly:
Well, the Liberal Party is in … is it meltdown … or melted cheese; a sort of political fondue? Somehow reminds us of something…
Sir Roger is weeping tears of joy tonight, blubbering with gratitude to the Liberal Party of Australia who have just taken the most decisive steps imaginable to remove themselves from even the remotest possibility of consideration as the government of Australia for at least another two elections and, Sir Roger thinks, probably two more after that. Sir Roger could not possibly have wished for more.
Thank you Santa; thank you,Tony; thank you, Nick. Merry Christmas.
PS: Sir Roger reckons the Liberal Party should win the Logie for best political comedy of all time. Forget The Chaser’s War on Everything – The Liberal Party’s War on Itself beats it by miles.
